Let’s take a stroll down memory lane, shall we? Wooooooooiiiiiiiii… Listen up! Today’s dancehall flashback is dedicated to a slack, raw-uncut single. Titled “Dorthy.” An epic record sung by the one and only, Terror Fabulous. Lyrics were recorded on the BATTY RIDER RIDDIM aka BODY WORKSHOP RIDDIM, produced by David ‘Dave Rude Boy’ Kelly, brought to you by Penthouse Records.

Cool nuh mon!! Introducing today’s Dancehall Flashback, “Big Timer” starring the never forgotten hot lyricist, Crissy D. This sound broke barriers back in 1997 when it was first released. Ask your parents about this one ;) …A straight banger designed just for the ladies! Recorded on the FILTHY RIDDIM, produced by Danny Brownie, written by H. Browne.

Did you know that “Big Timer” was produced by Main Street Productions, distributed by All Access Ent, originally recorded on Vinyl, 7″, 45 RPM? Well.. *pause* “if you don’t know, now you know!” *Biggie Smalls Voice*

Swagga Right Entertainment digs deep into the past and slips on an ‘oldies-but-goodies’ record. Introducing, “Dancing Mood” by Jamaican icon, Delroy Wilson. This world-famous single was produced by Coxsone Records, released back in 1966.

The great, Delroy George Wilson was born on October 5th, 1948. Mastered in singing ska, rocksteady and reggae music. He passed away on March 6th, 1995, at Kingston’s UWI hospital, of complications from cirrhosis of the liver. He was only 46 years old.

Let’s take it all the way back to 1998, when the song “Hackle You” was released starring the one and only, Frisco Kid. It was recorded on the HYPE RIDDIM, from the label Ghetto Quality. This classic dancehall record created gigantic waves in the music industry!

Steve Wray aka Frisco Kid aka Ancient Monarchy, is a popular deejay born in the Kingston district of West Kingston, Jamaica. He left high school in 1989, to pursue vocational training as a mechanic.

Weehhh! Pull Up! — Today’s Dancehall Flashback goes to a duet called “Wicked Dickie” starring Buju Banton featuring superstar, Nadine Sutherland. Many know the history of Buju Banton as one of the top dancehall emcees who later transitioned himself as a prominent conscious reggae icon. As for Nadine Sutherland, she’s known all over the globe for hit songs like “Babyface” and “Action” featuring Terror Fabulous.
